New Dems Endorse Two Candidates In NH & CT

Today, the New Democrat Coalition Action Fund (NDAF) endorsed Stefany Shaheen (NH-01) and Luke Bronin (CT-01) in their races that will help New Dems deliver a durable, governing Democratic majority. With these latest endorsements, New Dems are now backing 45 candidates in 25 states. 

“Stefany and Luke are running strong campaigns focused on the cost of living crisis hurting Americans across the country,” said NDAF Chair Greg Stanton (AZ-04). “They are local leaders with a proven track record of getting things done. While House Republicans rubber-stamp price hikes, healthcare cuts, the Iran War, and corruption in DC, Stefany and Luke will push back and deliver. The NewDem Action Fund is proud to stand with them."

Stefany Shaheen (NH-01): A health care entrepreneur, former Portsmouth City Councilor and mom of four, Stefany became a fierce advocate for medical research after her daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age eight. On the Council, she helped get blood testing for Portsmouth families exposed to PFAS in their water. Now she's running to protect health care and lower costs for Granite State families against a Trump-endorsed candidate in an open seat the GOP has put at the top of its target list.

Luke Bronin (CT-01): As a Navy Reserve intelligence officer who deployed to Afghanistan, an Obama Administration official fighting terrorist financing at the Treasury Department, and Mayor of Hartford, Luke has dedicated his life to public service. As Mayor, Luke brought the city back from the brink of bankruptcy, and he's running to lower costs, build more housing, and invest in the clean energy economy of tomorrow.
